Ons Wegkruip Plekkie @ Leeupoort is situated in Leeupoort Holiday Town and is ideal for families or groups of guests who enjoy wildlife and love the bush – truly a jewel in the Bushveld!
We are on the R516 and we’re 172 km from Pretoria, 90 km from Brits, 72 km from Bela Bela (Warmbaths) and 50 km from Thabazimbi in Limpopo.
The modern holiday house offers 3 bedrooms and can sleep 6 people. The main bedroom contains a double bed, while the second room has 2 single beds and the 3rd room also 2 single beds. There are 2 living areas. The main bedroom has an on-suit bathroom and the other 2 rooms share the use of a bathroom with a bath and a shower. Bedding is provided but please bring your own towels and kitchen towels.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a gas stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a deep freezer as well as a dishwasher. Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table and guests can relax in the lounge which contains a TV and a DVD player. An OVHD decoder (NO DSTV) is available. There is a nice outside fire pit for braaing and socializing. The house is fitted with ceiling fans to keep guests cool. Unfortunately, pets and quad bikes are not allowed as this is part of the nature reserve rules. Premises used at own risk. Regretfully we are not wheelchair friendly as the slope of the stand do not allow this. There is sparkling splash pool 2.5m x 2.5m x 1.0m deep for use of our guests alone.
There is a restaurant, shop, liquor store and 3 different swimming pools on the premises. Leeupoort Holiday Town offers a variety of lookout points over the Waterberg, 4×4, hiking and cycling trails, as well as picnic spots and pools. Visitors have free access to the reserve that we call our own “Kruger”. The reserve hosts 50 mammal species, 170 bird species and 114 tree species. They walk around in the streets and graze between the houses. A variety of wildlife can be seen such as warthogs, zebras, giraffe, kudu, blue wildebeest and more. No fishing allowed. The animals walk freely between the houses.
Climate is moderate to warm the whole year. No smoking policy applies. Please note that this is Bushveld and that there might be a bit of dust here and there, but the unit does get cleaned and sanitized before and after arrival.
Check-in: After 14:00 on the day of arrival
Check-Out: Before 10:00 on the day of leaving
Additional Costs That May Occur
Additional Fees:
– Provision are made for one Cell phone and one car registration at the main gate, if you require access for more than one car/cell phone a fee of R100 per car/cell phone is applicable
– Additional House Cleaning (Dishes, pots and pans), Refuse, Fire Ashes and cleaning fees of R300 available if you do not want to do this yourself.
– Additional Fees of R200 per adult (12 and older) or R120 per child (under 12) per night will apply, if you are more than the maximum amount (6) of people allowed.
– As from 2020 there will be a R1000 Breakage Fee Payable, directly to the Owner after Booking Confirmation.
Premises used on your own risk, Ons Wegkruip Plekkie cannot accept any liability for any injuries, theft, loss of goods etc. at our own or other premises within Leeupoort Holiday Town.
Terms and Conditions apply:
– Ons Wegkruip Plekkie is a Full Self Service facility.
– Full weekend to be booked (Friday in and Sunday out, or Saturday in and Monday out), this also counts for December High Season. You cannot arrive on Saturday and leave on Saturday as it impacts 2 weekend bookings
– Bedding is provided but not hand towels nor dish washing cloths as this is a personal item. Please bring your own liquid soap and dishwasher tablets.
– Max of 6 persons allowed to stay @ premises.
– Admin fees are not negotiable and include cell phone registration to allow gate entrance (we need your cell phone number and car registration).
– You will be liable for the additional cleaning fees if the premises were not left behind in a suitable condition. Please NO dirty dishes, pots, pans to be left behind. Dishwasher to be fully unpacked. All refuge bags to be left at the main gate as there is no municipal services available in Leeupoort.
– Please take note and comply to the Nature Reserve (no pets allowed), House and Splash pool rules stated on the premises. These rules are available beforehand on request.
– 100% Payment is due at least 4 weeks prior to the booked date of arrival so that we can ensure everything is arranging and ready for your arrival.
– Flash deals do not apply to long weekends and holiday periods.
– Please Note: 100% payment required for any specials.
Please not that Ons Wegkruip Plekkie Accommodates 4-6 visitors at a time. Any Amount of people over the mentioned limit will be charged R120 per person under the age of 12 years old, or R200 per person over the age of 12.
